Greetings All:
Last week I posted about improving memory. Hope you all took the challenge and worked on relaxing and clearning your mind.
One of most effective ways to improve memory is to focus on the here and now. Do not dwell on the past. Have a sense of the future and have some goals and dreams, but live in the present. The present is truly a gift and we should all use it. When we clear our mind and then foucs on the present, our mind will open to all that we need to remember.
Part of staying in the present is to stop the endless chatter otherwise known as self talk. Most of the time it is negative any way and only distracts us from what we need to focus on. Most self talk is more critical than helpful.
